This is a minefield. So many opinions, self-proclaimed experts, and certifications, oh, and then we have the internet!

It is important to know and understand your basics:

  • Body composition

  • Paleo, Zone, Keto, etc.

  • Macro and micro nutriments

  • Advising on lifestyle factors and personal goal setting

  • Be aware of your knowledge and professional limitations
